Let's discuss adventure options in Colombia and Japan.
Sounds good. I assume we're talking about something more exciting than a sauna?
Absolutely! Think adrenaline-pumping activities.
Colombia first, then?
In Colombia, you have the Andes Mountains, perfect for hiking. There's also whitewater rafting and paragliding in Medellín, plus scuba diving and snorkeling on the Caribbean coast.
Hiking sounds…challenging. Paragliding sounds terrifying, but I suppose the views would be something. Underwater activities are a bit too quiet for me.
What about Japan? You mentioned sumo wrestling.
Japan offers more than sumo, although that's tempting. There's skiing and snowboarding in the Japanese Alps, with snow monkeys nearby. The Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trails are also an option. And surprisingly good surfing spots around Okinawa. Kayaking around the islands is also possible.
So, your final verdict? Colombia or Japan?
Difficult choice. Colombia has a jungle and mountain vibe, while Japan offers snow monkeys and unique cultural experiences.
Both offer incredible opportunities for adventure.
I'm sold. As long as there's coffee, I'm game for either!
